SCI links each featured paper through its DOI or another stable canonical record. Bibliographic fields are rendered from structured source data rather than re-created from memory during drafting.
Scientific claims beyond bibliographic fact are tracked privately with a source, evidence class, access level, locator, status, and permitted wording. Public evidence labels state whether the bibliographic record, abstract, full text, and supporting sources were reviewed.
Metadata confirms title, authorship, venue, identifiers, and dates. It does not confirm instrument performance, novelty, limitations, or broad implications.
SCI prefers primary research for claims about a particular experiment and authoritative reviews for field-level context. Publisher highlights and abstracts may guide orientation, but detailed numerical or comparative claims should be checked in adequate source text.
Copied figures or extended passages are not used without clear permission. Short quotations, when necessary, are marked and attributed.
